About Us

Who We Are

Established in 1964, Meadowlands Church of Christ began with humble gatherings in homes, led by visionary founders like Muthali, Masala, Nengwenani, Mashila, Bulasigobo, Ramaada, Andrew Mulaudzi, Ramulunimisi, Malotsha, and Lithudzha. Our congregation eventually found a stable home at Dzata School until June of that era, reflecting our steady growth. Today, we proudly worship as a vibrant community centered around Christ and guided by biblical truth.

Our Mission

To restore the authentic practices and teachings of the New Testament church and lead believers toward eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Historical Background

Established in 1964, the Meadowlands Church of Christ first worshipped in private homes, quickly growing under devoted leaders who laid our strong spiritual foundation. After years of dedicated service and growth, the church moved into Dzata School, flourishing there until June 2002, when we transitioned into our current location. This journey of faith reflects our resilience and commitment to serving God faithfully.

Organization & Leadership

At Meadowlands Church of Christ, we uphold the biblical model of church leadership through the oversight of qualified elders who shepherd the congregation. In accordance with New Testament teachings, we believe in the plurality of elders rather than a single "pastor" or "bishop." These titles are descriptive roles rather than hierarchical positions.
